The Last Game

Yesterday, I played indoor soccer.
I go back to Japan this Saturday, so it was the last game for me.

Before we played the game, a big problem happened.
There were only 3 members (including me)...
When we play indoor soccer, we need at least 6 members.
So, we borrowed 3 members from other team (not AU PEPE).

They had good skills, but they were too selfish and aggressive.
They didn't pass, and they started fighting...

I couldn't enjoy because of them.
I wanted to play the game with GEAP members.



After the game, all GEAP and PEPE members clapped their hands for me.
And I took some photos with GEAP members.

I could really enjoy playing indoor soccer.
I could meet good teammates.
We couldn't win, but I had a good time with teammates.

I realised that I like soccer very much.

Be a Swimmer!

Yesterday was really hot day...
But I played soccer with classmates and other students after class.

I think when drivers or pedestrians looked us, they thought
"What are they doing? They are crazy guys!"

Yes, we are crazy.
It was too hot to play sports outside (dangerous!).


Today is also hot day... So, I decided to swim in the pool.
There is a pool at my host family's house!
We don't need to worry about sharks.

I swam with 6 year old boy about an hour and a half.
I'm tired but I really enjoyed it.


I play indoor soccer tomorrow.
Tomorrow is the last game for me.
I want to enjoy the game with teammates.

Yesterday, I met my host family from 2 years ago.
When I came to Adelaide last time (February 2005), I'd stayed at their house for 3 weeks.

I met them in front of my school.
We were very happy to meet each other again.


After we had a lunch, we went to Mount Lofty.
It was cooler than the city, and the sight was beautiful.

After that, we went to Semaphore and enjoyed having a dinner.
I had a very good time with them.


They promiced that when I leave Adelaide, they come to the airport.
I am very happy, because I have 2 families in Australia.


Someday, I want to come back here and meet my host families.

Derby Match!

Yesterday, I played indoor soccer.
My team (AU GEAP) had a game against AU PEPE.
1 week ago, we lost to them, so I really wanted to beat them this time.

Many people came to the gym and watched our game.
Teachers, staffs of our school, my host family, students...
I was very happy.

The result was 3-10... We lost again, but I scored 1 goal (Penalty kick).
We all played hard, but PEPE was a strong team.
We have to shoot at goal more and more, and practice defense.

After the game, PEPE got the trophy.
If you want to see it, please go to the reception (Level 2).
I don't want to see it (because we lost!!).
I hope GEAP team win the next Derby Match and get the trophy.

Next Sunday is the last game for me.
I want to play with my teammates more, but I have to go back to Japan.

I really really really really really want to win.

I just do my best.

3 Beers...?

We had a class with other GEAP class students today, and we played a game called "Chinese Whispering". This game is a kind of communication game. I made a mistake in this game.

The correct answer was "Last night, I went to see a movie, and the title of a movie was 'G.... and 3 Bears'."
But I told to my classmate, "Last night I went to see a movie, the title was 'Golden Night (Knight?) and 3 Beers'".

I couldn't understand this title. I imagined that people drink, eat a feast and dance at the party. I thought it was a strange movie.


After all, I couldn't hear the correct title, so I asked to my classmate.
He said to me when a teacher told us the title, he heard "Godzilla and 3 Bears".
I agreed with him first, because I heard the word something similar to Godzilla.

Godzilla? A monster??

It's wrong. It's impossible. 3 bears can't beat Godzilla.

I need to practice listening more and more...
My listening skill is really bad...

Please tell me the correct title and contents of the movie.


Tomorrow, I have a presentation.
I'm not good at speaking in front of people, but I'll try my best.

Indoor Soccer Day

Every Sunday, I play indoor soccer with my teammates. There are 2 teams in our school, and I'm a member of AU GEAP. My team is the bottom of the league, and we had a game against the second place team yesterday.

The opponent was strong, and our team didn't have enough stamina and techniques. The result was 0-12... We didn't score any goals.
It was a terrible game.

After our team's game, AU PEPE (another team) had a match, but their opponent couldn't come. So, my team played an exhibition match against AU PEPE. We didn't take a rest (only 5 minutes!), so, teammates and I couldn't run. The result was 6-12, but I scored 2 goals!!

Next Sunday, my team has a match against AU PEPE officially. I really want to win. I'm looking forward to playing indoor soccer on Sunday. I have to cure muscular pain first.
